Biography
Currently I am research fellow at Department of Computer Science, Models, Electronics and Systems (DIMES), University of Calabria, Italy.
I'm also technical advisor for Logistics and Computer Science, with a focus on system management and data analysis.
From March 2009 to November 2012 I have been research fellow at Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems (DEIS), University of Calabria, Italy.
From March 2007 to February 2009 I have been Senior Engineer in a research & development project at the NEC Italia Center for High-Performance Computing and Computational Engineering (CESIC).
On March 2009 I received a Ph.D. in Operations Research from DEIS, University of Calabria, Italy.
I received a Laurea Specialistica degree (M.Sc.) in Management Engineering (cum laude) in September 2005 from the same university. Then, I have passed the professional qualification examination (i.e. "Esame di Stato") from both Computer Science Engineer and Industrial Engineer.

My Internet interests rely on semantics, SEO and data analysis for advanced Web applications.
Research
My research interests focus on quantitative modeling, optimization and performance evaluation of Logistics processes, via discrete event simulation combined with mathematical programming models and algorithms.

Open Source Libraries
- ToInlineStyleEmailBundle. A Symfony2 bundle for the CssToInlineStyles PHP library used to convert HTML documents with external CSS into HTML documents with inline CSS styles (main application is on creating a emails, newsletter, etc.). Available for download here on GitHub.
